Flexible business model

Content providers can make their content available for license in a number of ways:

  1. Global Grid for Learning Library – a multi-publisher collection of resources that offers end users unlimited search but limited download of resources.
  2. Global Grid for Learning Subject Collections – a multi-publisher collection of resources organised around a specific subject that offers end users unlimited download of resources.
  3. Global Grid for Learning Media Collections – a multi-publisher collection of resources organized around a specific media type that offers end users unlimited download of resources.
  4. Global Grid for Learning Publisher Collections – a collection of resources from one publisher that offers end users unlimited download of resources. License fees are set by the content provider.

Content providers can participate in one or all of the above.

Success fees

Global Grid for Learning is only paid on success; no upfront financial investment is required by content providers. A small fee is retained from net license fees to meet service level agreements and cover ongoing infrastructure and systems development related to content management and delivery.
