At Global Grid for Learning we aim to ensure that educators and students are able to access the content they need, when they need it, and through whatever educational software or device they choose to access it.

The following are some examples of how Global Grid for Learning can be integrated into the classroom environment using some of the most commonly used ICT and software in education:

Global Grid for Learning can add value to current or future technology investments by seamlessly connecting a comprehensive digital content library into most existing VLEs and Learning Platforms.

We have worked closely with Microsoft to create a standard web part for Global Grid for Learning. This makes it simple and straightforward to integrate Global Grid for learning into any platform based on Microsoft Sharepoint.

In addition, we have developed a standard web service specification for other platform and software providers to integrate Global Grid for Learning into their software applications

ggfl bullet point Interactive Whiteboards

The GGfL Library provides the perfect opportunity for educators and learners to utilize interactive whiteboard technology by integrating digital content into their lessons and coursework. Our learning resources can be used by educators worldwide to create immersive and personalized multimedia lessons and presentations for their students.

ggfl bullet point Content Authoring and Assembly Tools

GGfL has been selected as one of the first worldwide content providers for Semblio, Microsoft's upcoming authoring and assembly tool for education. Semblio, due to be launched in 2010, will allow multiple content types to be combined into a single, rich multimedia presentation, and will include learning resources from the GGfL Library.
